Welcome to Higher Standards, Miami's premier SAT, ACT, PSAT and PreACT prep specialists!
Enrollment is currently underway for our Summer/Fall course that began on July 17, 2019 (in preparation for the October 2019 SAT, ACT & PSAT exams) and for our Fall/Winter course that will begin on September 14, 2019 (in preparation for the February 2020 ACT exam & the March 2020 SAT exam).
While the Summer/Fall course has already begun, there may still be time to join in and to catch up on what you've missed. Section A is now closed, but there is still room in Section B, so if your scores match Section B, contact us immediately if you would like to enroll. For the Fall/Winter course, currently there is still room in both sections of the course.
Our classes meet in the conference room of the Hampton Inn near Dadeland Mall, off of South Dixie Highway and North Kendall Drive.
To view the schedules and/or to reserve a space for any of our courses, click on the "Schedules/Registration" link at the top of this page. Enrollment for each course is limited, so reserve your seat ASAP to guarantee your spot!
Additionally, our next free introductory workshops are coming up soon! See below for details.

Free SAT/ACT/PSAT Practice Test & Strategies/Facts Class
Test drive your SAT/ACT/PSAT instructor before committing to a class
Includes an abbreviated practice exam plus an SAT/ACT/PSAT Strategy/Guidance Session that covers:
Higher Standards Tutorial is offering a free SAT/ACT/PSAT practice test and strategy class to all local high school students and their parents. The one-hour abbreviated practice exam will familiarize students with all short-answer sections of the SAT, ACT and PSAT exams. The test will be followed by an in-depth class covering SAT, ACT and PSAT facts and strategies that are likely to help students to improve their scores. The seminar will also provide important guidance for parents and students to navigate the standardized test maze.
The class is taught by Dr. Jeffrey Rothkopf, a popular teacher & SAT/ACT/PSAT instructor for over 30 years and Director of Higher Standards, a local organization that provides expert standardized test, college essay preparation and life coaching for teens & adults. The class offers a great opportunity to get free test practice, lessons and advice. For students seeking the best prep program, it is also an invaluable opportunity to "test-drive" Dr. Rothkopf, who teaches all Higher Standards test prep courses and who has attained perfect scores in all SAT sections on past exams.
